Protecting and managing the wild land of the CRIT Reservation.

Colorado River Indian Tribes Fish & Game Dept.

Conserve and Protect CRIT Wildlife

The mission of the Colorado River Indian Tribes Fish & Game dept. is to protect human life and property by enforcing Tribal laws, deterring criminal activity, ensuring public safety, and to conserve, enhance, and restore diverse wildlife resources and habitats through protection and management programs and to provide wildlife resources for the enjoyment, appreciation, and use by present and future generations.

Beginning in 2025, CRIT F&G wanted to teach our youth to become responsible big game hunters. Youth antlerless deer hunts allow for children under the age of 18 to begin their hunting journey, learn to respect the sport and the land, and keep our deer population healthy. Over 32 permits were sold in 2025 with four successful first-time youth hunters. We hope to continue this tradition well into the future.
